Have you seen the sweets from Splendiferous Sweet Shoppe? I love the whimsy and delight of this beautiful space. Let's talk about their sweets for a minute!
"Our shop is truly a one stop sweet shop! I create fine chocolate bonbons with many fillings that vary according to the season. I also make turtles, Needham's, nonpareils, peppermint patties, molded chocolates, coconut macaroons, brownies, hot chocolate bombs, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered cookies and pretzels. Our gourmet hot chocolate drinks and lattes with flavored syrups are a chilly weather favorite! We collaborate with local businesses for items such as coffee from Wicked Joe Organics, ice cream from Morton's Moo, french macarons from Simply Macarons by Jaelin, fudge from Nick's Wicked Tasting Fudge and shortbread cookies from Cookies-To-Go. We have a collection of curated gift items such as magnets, mugs, jewelry from local crafters. Â For our Alice in Wonderland fans we carry a variety of themed items."

"Step inside the doors and you will see why this is such a magical place! Â
 I always have loved to cook, bake and create! I decided to try something new for my high school graduation reception....pretzel pops! They received rave reviews from my guests and after my uncle suggested I sell them, I decided to locally at farmers markets, craft fairs and special events. In April 2013 I received my Food Prep/Vendor's License and officially began "Promise Pretzels of Maine. I also opened an online Etsy store and began shipping them all over the US and the world. Along the way I received my degree in Culinary Arts Baking and Pastry.  I wanted to open a retail shop and when I discovered a beautiful historic bank in downtown Searsport I knew this was the spot!  I changed the name of my business to Splendiferous Sweet Shoppe as I have broadened my confectionery creations far beyond my original pretzels.  Splendiferous means extraordinary and that is what I strive for in my shop!  Since I believe in sharing what we have been given my business helps   groups such as Refuge Place International in Liberia and local nonprofit organizations."
