Mountaintop Papercrafting
Handmade papercrafts for expression
About the Artisan
Christie has been working with rubber stamps and paper crafting for over 25 years. More recently, she began discovering all the new equipment that the paper crafting world had to offer. She slowly started learning about new techniques and finally expanded into more than just rubber stamping. She now uses metal dies, various types of inks and embellishments to add color and interest, as well as rubber and clear stamps to create greeting cards, gift boxes, gift bags, and various decorative paper based items. Although she does own multiple electronic machines, all of her die cutting is done with a hand crank machine. She use 110 lb paper for the bases in order to provide stability and strength, and uses wet glue to securely connect base pieces. This is to ensure that the gift box or bag will hold up to slightly heavier items. Her boxes and bags are perfect for items like candy, jewelry, smaller candles and soaps, and magnets. She also makes gift card holders for those who like to give gift cards but want something more creative to present it in.
