Coming in 2023!

Join Maine Micro Artisans as we restructure and reboot for 2023! Over the last six months we've learned what really works for us as a family, what works for our community and how we can best serve the artisans we partner with. We're making some exciting changes for the new year that we can't wait to tell you about!

After Christmas 2022, we'll be closing the retail storefront and taking a short break to regroup as a family. Then in January we'll be updating and relaunching our online store with the goal of becoming the largest online shop for handmade Maine goods! Moving online will allow you to shop a larger selection of artisan products whenever you want and from the comfort of your own home. We'll be shipping items as well as offering local pickup at the 18 South Street location and local delivery in Gorham.

We're planning lots more exciting activities and events throughout 2023! We'll have monthly artisan markets at the Robie Gym and Orchard Ridge Farm. We'll be hosing a variety of popup shops at 18 South Street - don't miss our first one, coming just in time for Valentine's Day! The retail storefront will be open all summer long, as well as for the holiday season, from Black Friday through Christmas Eve.

In between the popup shops there will be a plethora of activities and learning opportunities available for the community, from makerspace-type crafting hours to specialized classes taught by our own talented artisans. I'm especially excited to bring more of my soap classes to the community.

As a special needs family, it's always been our goal to service the community of talented special needs artisans around us. Here in our tiny shop we can only support a fraction of these talented folks; moving to an online model allows us to greatly expand our circle of support. If you know a special needs artisan, we'd love to hear from you!

For a complete list of events and activities, see our Events Calendar.

See you in 2023!
