The Holidays at Maine Micro Artisans - Vendor Signup

Join Maine Micro for our holiday seaon. During the holiday season all merchandising of your items will be up to me. Ietms will be mixed together to create the best shopping experience for customers. You will have a featured segment on the video display screen. Your segment will discuss your work and anything you'd like the customer to know about what makes you so special. This will run in a loop during shopping hours. This interactive experience will give shoppers more insight into the makers in the space and will keep them engaged. 

I will only be taking on 30 artisans for the holiday season. This will allow each artisan to have a generous amount of space along with more detailed displays for each artisan. It will also allow me to have a more focused approach to in-person sales.

Terms and Conditions

Tickets for events sponsored by MMA are offered on a 'by invitation only' basis. If you are not on artisan with a current agreement with Maine Micro Artisan please refrain from purchasing a ticket.

By purchasing this ticket you agree to follow the terms and conditions fully and completely. Failure to comply with the terms and conditions will result in a forfeiture of your space. A forfeiture for non-compliance will not be refunded.

The summer season will be held from November 24th - December 24th.  The holiday season features an all inclusive fee just like pop-up style events. This means your in-store sales during this period are commission free! A three percent processing fee will apply to all transactions. 

*Plesae note this does not mean your online sales during this time will not have the commission applied. The two will be treated separately.*

Setup will occur November 17th- November 21st. You must have your items to me by the 21st. 

Your work - Items may not contain copyright or trademark infringements. You will receive one warning. A second instance will result in a forfeiture of your space. Items that are crude or could be offensive are not l allowed. I reserve the right to ask you to remove an item. Failure to remove requested items will result in an immediate forfeiture of your space.

Sales Tax - I will collect and remit sales tax on your behalf. You agree to process all sales through the register in conjunction with other artisans. All sales are subject to tax.

Insurance - Insurance is not required, but encouraged. My general liability insurance will not necessarily protect your business and is designed to protect mine. For food vendors insurance IS required.

Food Products - Food products may only come from a kitchen licensed by the appropriate agency. For food vendors insurance IS required. Only approved foods may be sold. Foods must come packaged for a retail setting. Prior approval for packaging and products will be needed.

The cost to participate in the summer season is non-refundable. Sick days, closures due to weather and other instances may occur during the season. All efforts will be made to avoid these instances. The shop will be scheduled to be 7 days a week from 10-6 daily. 

There is no guarantee of sales. I will do my best to promote the event, artisans participating should also plain addiitonal advertising strategies.

Payouts for the holiday season will occur in one payment during the final week of December 2023.  

Your inventory must come tagged with pricing and SKU's. Any items not tagged will not be put out for sale. 

Restocks - I will put out a call when I notice your inventory dipping low. It would be ideal to have a bin or two of back stock for the season. Back-up inventory will be held securely and in good condition in a climate controlled storage unit. 

End of season reporting - The season will close on December 24th. After Christmas all inventory and accounts will be reconciled. Sales reports an inventory report and payout will be issued by January 1st. You will need to retrieve your inventory by that please.
